Shows a picture of the earth at night, from space. I know this doesn't seem very on-topic, but notice where all the light is coming from, and how much electricity that would take. Notice no lights in China (maybe the smog in Beijing affects that?). Puts a few things in perspective...

This article argues that there should be more oil speculators. The high volatility is because the oil futures market is too small- it doesn't take too many speculators to move prices by too much.
