Submitted by FireApple 3 months, 1 week, 4 days ago It’s already been a long day but its going to get a lot longer. The feared 'days of no hope' have arrived in the stock market. The United States is going to hit a severe recession or, as ANZ chief Mike Smith forecasts, it will encounter a depression. Australia will go into a steep downturn. Whether we have a recession will depend in part on how clever our government and Reserve Bank are and what happens in China.
